Public Adjuster Services
Helping you through the claim process from start to finish
The Process
Below is an outline of the steps John N. Rabias Inc. will take when managing your claim.
1.) Arrange to secure your property
Most importantly our company will take the necessary action to protect your property from further damages as required by your insurance policy. Depending on your situation, our company will work with other reputable and qualified professionals, contractors and vendors to assist in securing your property.
2.) Report your claim
We will contact your insurance agent and/or insurance company and provide all of the details necessary for initial reporting.
3.) Facilitate mitigation services
Our company will if necessary facilitate board up services, water, fire and smoke remediation services, dry cleaning services, art restoration & antique evaluation services as well as coordinate temporary housing.
4.) Review your insurance policy
We will thoroughly review your policy’s coverage amounts and endorsements in order to recover the full potential of your claim.
5.) Photograph your claim in entirety
Our staff will photograph all affected areas of your loss, the entire extent of damages and the overview of the property. This will eliminate the possibility of overlooking any items or small details.
6.) Generate a detailed building estimate of your property
Our adjuster(s) will generate a room by room detailed list of necessary actions to rebuild your property. Each task will be clearly identified with quantity and price. All effected areas of your loss will be included in this estimate.
7.) Prepare an itemized personal property list
Our company will piece by piece inventory all of your damaged personal property items leaving no room for error or missed belongings. Our professionals will then document, quantify and price out an estimate to be presented to the insurance company on your behalf.
8.) John N. Rabias Inc. will facilitate and be present at all appointments from start to finish
Our office will be present at all meetings with the insurance company and their representatives and will handle any communications with local city officials and vendors.
